Zipping along in the rental car… on the 401 and headed to the 407.
What a place… endless traffic.. the cost of all this is truly shocking.. cost in that we’re paying for all this but also the time and energy required to sustain all this. Trucks fly along full of whatever.. people mad that they can’t do double the speed limit weave among the people merely speeding.. someone who dared to do the speed limit would surely be killed for the impunity.
Southern Ontario is really pretty.. I forget that sometimes because I’m not down here very often. The farms, creeks, skyline and weather are lovely. We had some amazing fruit and meat over the last week. The tail end of the season’s sweet corn was also really good. It was good to get away from Ottawa for a bit.
Looks like that second wave is truly hitting now.. Obviously coming but neoliberalism couldn’t turn away from “reopening” – together
Probably won’t get away anytime soon… and by the we’ll really have to take this climate stuff seriously even if we refuse to. Refugees will be at the border.
